I bought this unit to use in my 2019 Nissan Kicks. Connecting and setting up was pretty easy. And it works pretty well. But the device overheats, often within an hour of use. When this happens, its performance suffers badly. It's buggy, doesn't connect well to the phone, and heats up enough to melt a candy bar stuck next to it in the dash/console drawer where the USB CarPlay port is. I'm more annoyed with the overheating issue than with plugging and unplugging my iPhone 12 Max Pro when getting in and out.
