Review on Charis Allure Lightweight Waterproof Windbreaker Women's Clothing for Coats, Jackets & Vests by Satsuki Silva

Durable, high quality

The Charis Allure waterproof women's jacket is more than just a raincoat. This is a beautiful, durable coat that I think will suit most spring and fall weather. Here in Minnesota, with a warm sweater underneath, I don't hesitate to wear it outside even on the coldest winter days. The jacket offers excellent wind protection, making it a warm yet lightweight alternative. The construction seems to be very good. There's a strong, strong feeling everywhere. This rain jacket should hold up very well. All seams and fasteners are of good quality. Because the jacket is lined, it is thicker and warmer than most waterproof jackets. Cloth lining is MUCH more comfortable. The inner fabric of the dark jacket I received is white with light blue stripes. With such a contrast, it seems a little strange to me, but the lining is not visible from the outside and is very pleasant to the touch. Other raincoats I've had were labeled "packable" which meant you could fold them up to a very small size and put them in your own zip pocket. I haven't seen a way to do that with this jacket. Of course, you can fold it up and put it in a suitcase without much bulk or weight. The size seemed right and it fit comfortably on the shoulders and chest. Arm length was good and should be fine for someone with typical or slightly longer arms. The area around the hips felt a bit tight for the size when the jacket was closed.
