Review on 2020 Apple MacBook Air Laptop with M1 Chip: Retina Display, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Touch ID - Gold by Andrey Doykov ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not perfect quality, some small defect.

The first generation of poppies, in which so many mistakes were made (there were previously two generations). 1) The globe button is permanently disabled, and pressing any other key combination on the keyboard activates it instead. and even when it does, there is no guarantee that the wording will remain consistent. 2) The "brighter screen" button stopped working after being repeatedly turned off (restarting the device is the only solution). Third, the claimed performance is highly "conditional"; following a system reboot, opening Word and Excel for the first time still takes as long as before (but once these programs are up and running, everything moves considerably more quickly). 4) The same font issues (unreadable) occur while unpacking Windows-made archives. 5) The inability to use the feature: opening and closing the lid should bring up the password entry page automatically laptop the 2022 poppy had a magnet, and the charger was a foolish solution (you have to aim at a narrow type-C gap, and you shouldn't touch the wire while the poppy is charging; the laptop will follow the wire). 7) The inability of the support service to swiftly resolve any of the aforementioned "software" issues (despite having made a video, done a screen recording, sent a photo, and connected to a support employee,. thus far, to no avail).

Pros
  • 1) aesthetics (aluminum stands out as classy and lovely in the context of plastic's pervasiveness). 2) independence (there aren't 18 hours in a day, yet the full workday keeps going strong) thirdly, it is lightweight and compact (not cumbersome to carry anywhere). Fourth, the rate at which work can be completed has increased in some respects while being unchanged in others.
Cons
  • 1) Changing the language being inputted (the globe button frequently goes off and does not work // the issue of getting used to the new button is subjective, I preferred the cmnd + space option ). I had to relearn ctrl+space because the globe was broken. While the system is still in its infancy, there may be other errors. The up and down buttons are too close together (I accidentally press both of them all the time). 4) The type-c charging port is awkward and potentially dangerous. 5) Results have fallen short so far. The emblem on the lid is constructed out of a mirror surface (marked, scratches will be visible with time), so it no longer lights up.
