Plan to use them at our pool to protect from heat and damage your swimwear or scratch your feet. Haven't used them yet but for the price I'm disappointed in the poor quality. In general, they are very similar to the material used in pool floats, except they are very thin. The holes on the sides are probably meant to allow air to escape when people sit on the mat to keep the very thin vinyl from tearing, but one of the 4 mats (2 sets) arrived with a hole on the smooth side of the mat. Carpet so just called to arrange a replacement order which means I have to return the full set so can only use 2 until a new set arrives. I was disappointed to see the extra large branding printed in white on the slick side and might not have bought it had I seen it in the photo so I'm including it so others know beforehand. In the end I couldn't find a better product so I'll leave it at that, but for the price I would have liked no or very few markings, a more consistent size and shape and a little thicker foam. The description when I ordered them was 20 x 20 x 6 and while I could see they were oval rather than round and I knew they weren't 6 inches and probably not even 3 inches, I assumed they were thicker than 3 inches would be. /4". If they last all summer and don't break, I'll be surprised, but I'll try to remember to unsubscribe if they last. In the meantime, I'll be on the lookout for such products at the pool store - you must have them.
