Was skeptical due to conflicting reviews but this collar is great. I can turn on progressive auto mode and customize my voice through the app. For the first level I just recorded my own voice telling the dog to calm down. If he continues to bark at the second level, he'll get a record of silence and a slight vibration. If he keeps barking at level 3 he gets a much louder recording of my yelling to silence me and a stronger vibration. He usually stops barking after the first level. I couldn't believe it! I've only had him for a few days and he hardly barks even though he didn't stop a week ago. I tried charging it after 3 full days of use but hardly needed an extra charge. I take it off at night as it's a bit bulky and they need to take time off the collar. I like the app, it's easy to use. Bluetooth doesn't work very well. I'm an app developer so I'm pretty critical of apps but the UX was basic and it was easy to change the audio, record my voice, change settings etc. Bluetooth connectivity is the tricky part and I connect often, but I don't. You don't even have to use the phone as a remote as the collar works by itself. You have the option of just using the remote control, but I'd rather work less. It doesn't pick up its growling noises or rapid high-pitched squeaks even when detecting the highest noise levels, but it's acceptable.
