I'm a 5'10" female and I've found that men's sizes fit me more comfortably. I purchased these based on price - mid-range, based on other products and other customer reviews.The leggings I got are SO comfortable. They're thick-enough that I can wear them under a skirt or dress when it's 40 F. I wear them to bed often and I wear them as "at home" clothes on weekends.The leggings come with a mesh washing bag and I use it! Merino wool needs to be handled carefully. I wash my wool clothes in cold water, hand-wash. I hang them to dry. When wet merino wool has a slightly "gamey" smell, but that goes away once it's dry. On warm days these dry within a few hours.I recommend getting some cedar to go in drawers or closets with these. Moths love wool. :-(
