My 8 month old loves this. It had a slight smell when it first opened but that went away over the next few days. Bought about 22 square feet and now my baby can crawl and try to take his first baby steps on it from my side. She fell and even cried, but was not injured. You can even walk on your knees for hours and not sweat while you help her walk. They love the product and will order more to fill the whole room. I ordered 8 packs, got loads of blue, red and yellow and quite a bit of orange, green and purple. When I wanted to build a large rug out of it and make even patterns, I couldn't finish it as I would like.
