Review on 🐶 Optimized PetSafe Indoor Bark Control Solution by Kendra Olvera

We have a small dog who randomly barks at people/dogs/noises. This is particularly annoying at night when everything is quiet in our house; it will start to go crazy and make us jump out of our skin. We bought the Petsafe Premium Ultrasonic Bell Control to stay sane and it is not harming our dog in any way. It was very helpful. He still growls or barks softly from time to time, but this is SUCH an improvement. Now the little dog next door is barking and our dog is much calmer. The device basically taught our little dog to stay calm and still, and overall he seems to have an improved temperament and be more emotionally stable. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the device's microphone doesn't pick up our dog's barking unless it's next to it. It must work within 20 feet. But if I put him by the front door, the high pitched sound he doesn't like won't be made when he comes to the window to bark. Luckily there's a button at the top so I can activate it manually. But that means I had to carry it around the house with me first. I was afraid that he would associate the noise with my presence and learn to avoid me, in which case I would return the Petsafe device, but this did not happen. Also, it would be more convenient if it had an on/off switch. Sometimes I accidentally pressed the button while wearing it. The instructions state that to turn it off you need to remove the battery, which is less convenient.
