I am as critical as anyone when it comes to products that meet advertised specifications. However, this cleaner does. Bought a few years ago for the look of my grill. There was a certain amount of grease and other substances on the lid that could not be removed with any other cleaning agent. I followed the instructions and not only removed all of the grease but also polished the lid to a high shine and it looked brand new. I used the scrubbers diligently and there were no scratches. I once melted a plastic bag on the lid. I've tried everything to remove it except scraping it off with sandpaper. I've resigned myself to leaving a small piece 2 inches long on the lid. It wasn't until I remembered I had this cleanser that I tried it. Just a little cleaner and that's it. I now have an immaculate 11 year old Webber that looks like new. Yes, this stuff works if you use it the right way.
