First, if at all as others have said, cutouts are extremely difficult to remove. Tried Greenlee punches but didn't work, ended up having to use a hole saw. The receiver was junk! Forget 6 AWG for 50 amp requirements, you're lucky if you get 10 AWG. Small screws literally fell off when trying to tighten them. Definitely not 50 amp quality. There is no option in the box to keep the door open or to remove it entirely for ease of wiring or assembly. You need both hands to connect the cable. All in all, if you can replace the socket with a really good one and live with a bad door design, it will work. You would be MUCH better off going to Lowe's or Home Depot. A quality 50 amp Eaton RV box made in the US is about the same price or even cheaper.
