Purchased this charger with the 8 rechargeable batteries because I needed additional backup batteries and a replacement charger for my existing Duracell and Energizer batteries. I was told after receiving my order this charger is only compatible with EBL or ebay batteries. So I will either have to purchase additional EBL batteries or another charger that is compatible with my Duracell and Energizer batteries. During the initial charging of the new EBL batteries one of the batteries took three times the amount time of the other 7 batteries to fully charge. So I'm not sure whether or not it is defective. Haven't had time to test it out.
