See update at bottom (January 16):I've only owned this a short time but I've charged close to 50 batteries with it so far (mixture of eneloop and ebl AA and AAA batteries). I like the display, it's large and clear, I like the capacity, I like the fact that pairs of batteries don't share a circuit. A couple big things I don't like though:1) removing batteries from the charger isn't easy. With AAA batteries you can hook your fingernail under the positive side and push against the negative side and generally get them out OK. With AA there's no give on the negative side so that doesn't work. Another charger I have has a gap on the back so you can push them out instead, that's a better solution.2) I'm not sure I can trust the charge meter and that's a big problem. I put in batteries that I know had charge and the meter showed it at the lowest end available (one flashing bar). I've let it fully charge a set of eight batteries (all meters having three constant on bars) and then after just disconnecting each for a fraction of a second (put enough pressure for the circuit to be broken then let immediately push it back into place) two of them showed one steady bar and a flashing and six showed two steady bars and a flashing. I let them all go up to full then repeated the process and this time all eight went to two steady and one flashing. It seems like the circuitry gives false positives on full charge and stops charging too early so it takes several cycles to fully charge. Alternately, it could be that the meter is just inaccurate. Neither is a good situation.I had high hopes for this charger but the second issue may be a deal breaker for me. If I can't trust this to charge properly I'll likely have to stop using it. I'll have to find some way to test and validate the charge. Two stars for the nice display and USBC compatibility, probably avoid this if you need to rely on full charge in your batteries as I can't be confident in the charge meter.Update: EBL reached out to me (they must have seen my review) and wanted to make it right. I must have gotten a dud as they provided a full refund for the device. I've bumped the star rating two stars (now at four stars rather than my original two) for the great customer service. I do have a variety of EBL batteries that I've been very happy with and another charger that's worked fine. For now I'm going to assume my unit was bad and they were proactive in addressing the issue.
