Review on πŸ”Œ iVAC Pro Tool Plus Sensor by Stephen Pendergrass

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Why not power it from a battery?

Advantages: (1) Works as intended, the dust extraction system turns on and off automatically when you turn on the connected tool. Turning on turns the dust collector on, and last turn off turns it off. However, I have not yet tested this aspect. Cons: (1) It uses a power source such as a cell phone charger, which requires a separate 110-volt outlet with enough space for the power bank. Additional wiring may be required to provide this power supply near your instrument, especially if the instrument uses 220 volts, or an extension cord on the floor (something to trip over). I don't understand why they didn't design it to use a battery similar to the base unit remote control.
