Pyrometer is inaccurate and customer service useless!
Very sorry about the purchase. I spent hours installing this in my truck only to find out that the egt sensor is not working properly. Reads too low. Never exceed 150Β°F at idle or 400Β°F while driving. This is a 1996 diesel Dodge with the sensor installed in front of the turbo. Called support and they said the idle gas temp should be below 200Β°! If I rely on that thing to drag, the pistons will melt! Beware!
