Review on Portable recorder ZOOM H6 black by Amar Amar ᠌

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Pros: Very high quality professional recorder. Tested on a couple of concerts, wrote perfectly. Bass delivery is particularly impressive. Batteries last quite a long time. In general, a smart decision is that there are just four AA batteries - you can carry them with you even a bag and change them as needed. For offline work on the road is very convenient. With its cons. It is necessary to carefully monitor the recording level, there is no automation here. If there is an overload, then the record will be hopelessly damaged, and you will only find out about it after the fact and you will tear your hair out. This is not a smart phone that will tweak everything and set everything up by itself. There is an option to record in parallel with a level of -12 dB, but even this does not always save in the case when the device just needs to be left unattended so that it records some event by itself - the same concert, for example. So it's better to set the recording level to a minimum in such situations, so that it doesn't grunt later. A little bulky. Not critical, of course, but carrying it in your pocket will not work. It seems to work as an external microphone when connected to a computer, but this function is very unstable. Suddenly, the device can fall off, and you will have to pull it out again, stick it in and make other feverish gestures, and all this during direct switching. In general, it is better to use it with great care in this variant. Outdated mini-USB connector. It is, of course, more reliable than the "micro", and fortunately, I still have a bunch of cables with this "mini", but now, gosh, you can buy such a lace.
