If you need a desktop fan in your cabin, buy one. If you want a swamp cooler to cool a small space, buy a swamp cooler. If you think something so small can make a difference, it doesn't. I installed it in a small bedroom and let it run for eight hours with little to no effect. I had to put it on my bedside table and the fan blew right in my face. As a class, I think these things are nothing more than miniature swamp coolers that are too small to be of any use. Returned immediately.
