Eligible Bass

Imagine you have $1,000 to put a band together. You had to adjust bass, mid and treble (not the way it works, but bear with me). They decide to give the bass $700 and split the remaining $300 evenly between the mids and highs, giving them $150 each. The band performs and as the songs build it sounds pretty decent. Then when the bass kicks off, it's so darn good that the other two look childish in comparison. It's like hiring Mariah Carey to sing in a high school band. Don't get me wrong if you love bass, and I mean LOVE bass, you're going to love these cans. But my goodness, it's so bass-heavy that it has its own slider for adjusting bass intensity. That's enough for you. This is my first and last pair of Lollipop Crushers. They are by no means bad. I just wish the rest of the 67% of the audio spectrum was given the same love and attention because while the mids and highs sound good, damn I'd even call them good, the bass is so amazing it seems bad.
