We live in the North West and the winters are pretty cold. My children's school has an outdoor break all year round and I love it. But sending them to school in full winter clothes seems like overkill, and quite frankly, they start bumping when they're indoors because they don't have time to change into full winter clothes. These pants are ideal for those snowy days when you don't want your kids to have wet pants, but also don't want your clothes to be completely downy. They're also stylish, which my kids really liked. I would not recommend them for any type of skiing, they are not warm enough for that. But they are good for school.
