Long recycling times in vehicles and app controlled remote control parts

Firstly if you are a Star Trek fan no matter how this thing flies you will love it. Very cool, easy to sit on a stand. Now for the flying part. This is my first drone. I used to play with helicopters but this is my first type of quadcopter. It takes some getting used to. It took me almost a week to figure out that it could be rotated by moving the left joystick left or right. On helicopters, the left joystick only moved back and forth. Yes, I was able to read the instructions, but it was more fun to experiment. In a very quiet room, I could never get the thing to just hang in one spot no matter how hard I pushed it with the remote. But it's not terrible. It's really cool to see this thing fly. And this is the Enterprise! So great. This thing is very strong as I broke it many times! You have to make sure the rotor blades don't hit the bowl after the crash. If you have sound effects enabled, a red alert will sound every time you fall. This can be a little annoying, so I just turned off all the sound effects on the remote. The only complaint I have about it is that the reload time is very long. I get about 7 minutes of flight time and it takes almost 2 hours to charge. But despite the long loading time, it's still a great toy. I got it during Prime Day so the grand total was about $90. It's very worth it for the price.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Infinitely slow
