I live in south Louisiana where it's very muggy in the summer! My wife and I leave the air conditioner on most of the day and night. Despite the fact that the house is around 72 degrees, breathing can sometimes be heard, especially at night! I heard about dehumidifiers but never bought them because of the high cost. I was very surprised when I saw this dehumidifier for under $100! I saw the reviews and thought if it doesn't help you can always return it. I got her item and put it in my bedroom. I was very impressed how much easier it was to breathe in the room! When I woke up, I opened the compartment for the water tank and the tank was almost full! I couldn't believe so much was wasted in my air! The thing works great! I will keep it and buy more for individual rooms!
