This is my second purchase of this item. The first one broke in my hands as I turned it to fill it with pepper. Aside from being a bit fragile (careful filling), I like the design, its ability to get salt and pepper on my dishes quickly and accurately, and its reasonable price. One star deducted due to damage. Now that I have both "Black & White" and "Metal" purchase options, I like the black and white version better. The metal version looks very plastic, and the black and white one is a little more pretentious.
