Superga have that classic look but are not ideal for a narrow female foot. I think the length is about half a size too big, but that doesn't really matter. My issue is that the insole is definitely wider than comparable casual shoes like Vans or Chuck Taylor Allstars. The thick sole is like a heavy piece of rubber that pulls off my foot as I walk, and even with the tight lacing around the ankle, it sags a bit. Again, I have a narrow foot and I understand that these features are related to the shape of my foot and not necessarily to the shoe, but I think it's important to mention them nonetheless. If you're the opposite of me and find Chuck Taylors to be a little tight, this might be a more comfortable option for you. These shoes fit a medium to wide foot much better than a narrow one. This may be because the shoes are unisex and therefore not suitable for a thinner female foot. I'm giving the shoes 4 stars primarily for the looks, but I'm deducting a star because I find the shoes are only for certain people.
