I don't have Wahl clippers but my clippers do accept wall blades and these blades were slightly smaller than the black piece that connects to it. So what I did was I got 2 small adjustable wrenches and pressed in the blade into the housing and slowly tightened it and alternating each side until the blade was flush with the plastic housing and it worked. Just take your time and use small increments pressing in the blade in because they are ceramic. Now your blades won't be hot. I use this on my son and haven't heard him complain to me about how hot the metal fixed blade is now
