This stand does what it's advertised to do. It's durable and lightweight. This helps keep my laptop cool and raises the screen so it's at eye level. However, I don't think it's very ergonomic for typing as there's no wrist support and the possibility of wrist flexion, which isn't great. I think a stand is probably better for a tablet. However, I use it for my laptop when I'm mainly reading or researching. Update: I have downgraded this product from 5 to 3 stars. I've only been using this stand for a month and the little pads all peel off pretty badly leaving bare metal on my desktop and computer. While it's durable and lightweight, you might want to look elsewhere.
