I love these awkward, clunky braces. A few months ago I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel. It got worse. The corset given at the doctor's office helped a little, but I started waking up regularly in the middle of the night with tingling and burning in my fingers. I tried the Ace version which gave the same results. I found this product while browsing the internet. It looked big and chunky and I was afraid I wouldn't like it. The first night I felt so HUGE, like a big weight on my arm. But it also felt soothing. Warm, so it takes some getting used to. But you know what --------------- Since I bought this I've slept through the night, EVERY NIGHT! The design of this brace bends my fingers forward, which seems to relieve pressure on my wrist tunnel. The only negative I see is that my fingers are a bit tight in the forward position when I first stand up, but that will go away. dry because it is so thick. I might even wear it sometimes during the day when my hand is naughty even though it's made for sleeping because it's heavy and uncomfortable and there's not much you can do with your hand when it's on. I would highly recommend it to my colleagues suffering from carpal tunnel.
