So I wanted to come up with a special paper gift idea for me and my wife's first anniversary. Somehow I ended up quilling on paper. The idea was to make her a postcard and some earrings. As a man, I knew nothing about it. I found and bought this set. When the set arrived it looked like a double sided pencil case or maybe a small tackle box. I opened it up and realized what each of the parts is. In the book that comes with the kit the process is described pretty well with pictures and stuff. Once I understood the basics, I was able to "take off” so to speak and easily create my own projects. She loved it for our anniversary. Bottom line, if you know nothing about quilling but want to learn, Got it. The tools aren't professional quality, but the kit includes glue, paper, and even some small cards for you to use. This is a great starter kit.
