Review on Bird Carrier Backpack with Portable Wooden Perch Stand, Travel-Friendly Bird Carrier Backpack by Christopher Isaac

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good design, but not suitable for long journeys or beak-legged birds

This carrying case is very well designed: easy to carry a bird because the zipper can be opened anywhere, easy to clean thanks to the stainless steel shell, and the shape makes it easy to carry and place in the car. The flap that closes the front is great too because it helps keep my bird warm when I bring him into the car from home in cold weather. Then why only four stars? Firstly, a number of reviews I read said the porter had glasses for food and water. Since my birds make quite long journeys with me, they need a way to provide food and water. Mine, however, had no cups. Second, I'm concerned about how well the material will stand up to a particular beak. I used the carrier to take the cockatiel to the vet and he seems to have found the mesh/screen parts irresistible. I'm afraid he will have time to poke a hole in it, and if a cockatiel can do it, a large bird will crawl through it in very little time. Vogel, I really like this carrier. I just want it to have two things that I need because I like a lot about it.

Pros
  • Carrying bags and travel essentials
Cons
  • Some small things
