thin and short

I have bought two sets of thermal underwear from this brand in the past for my son to wear in cold weather for outdoor soccer. These sets were great! However, this time I only bought one shirt. This time the fabric is MUCH thinner and won't keep you warm on a cold New England soccer field. Also, the sleeves are very short. I bought him the big ones last year and they fit. I went to XL this year to accommodate my size. But the sleeves are too short. Unfortunately I will be sending these back.
