As a runner who likes a fairly sturdy shoe, these shoes will take some getting used to. It looks too wide and honestly feels like I'm running on two oversized industrial strength sponges. If you like soft sneakers, then this model is for you. As a Saucony sneaker lover, this one didn't work for me. To be honest I've only ridden them about 20 miles since I bought them. A year later: I completely abandoned them as running shoes and now they are more like my slippers that I wear first thing in the morning to walk my dog. Back cramps, knee pain and a host of other ailments forced me to swap these shoes for a more traditional running shoe (Saucony Ride 5). Good luck with your purchase if you buy them.
