Good omnidirectional mic for a small conference room or meeting

My Macbook's built-in speaker and mic used to be used for church group conferences, and the mic wasn't the best when used with a group of people in one room was used. So I bought this device hoping to improve people's ability to hear in Zoom video conferencing software. There were several things that attracted me to this device. 1) It was relatively inexpensive, which is a plus. 2) It was advertised as omnidirectional. . My Macbook has a standard internal microphone that can only pick up voices that are closest to it. There are problems when people are talking on the other side of the table - the sound would be bad. I was hoping that the omnidirectional quality would allow for better audio pickup from multiple directions. Overall, this is a pretty good omnidirectional mic. The only downside is that it's not a powerful microphone as it connects to a laptop via a USB connection, so the audio picks up better in a small room than in a large conference room. It features a flexible 1-foot neck that allows 360-degree adjustment of the microphone. Since our group is seated at a long table, I just placed the mic on the center table around all participants, and according to Zoom conference call participants, it's quite audible. So far I haven't had any problems with noise or feedback. It is also compatible with Windows PC or Apple Macintosh system, so it can be used with many computer systems. Also, getting this to work on a Mac was very easy. I just plugged it into my laptop and it was recognized instantly with no software to install. So far this seems like a win in my book.
