Difficult to fold and strong smell

I like the design and the small weights in each of the corners of the rug. However, I used it on a windy day and the weight wasn't enough to hold it up. What bothered me the most was that the opening wasn't long enough, making it difficult to put the mat back into the case. The compass works and the instructions were clear enough to understand how to use the compass. Upon opening it smelled strongly of petrol. I had to open the carpet and let it air out for a few days. I was also surprised to learn that this product was made in China. I did not expect this.
