I was told yes. However, this was wrong. After you open the pet bucket, the hinged lid opens away from you. The lid didn't look symmetrical to me: one corner was higher than the other. The image on this page looks similar if you look closely. The steel was thin and I didn't think it was a big deal until I noticed a small dent in the lid. The pad also felt flimsy and I was worried about how long it would last. It was expensive and I just didn't feel like it would hold up well. I returned it.
