I wanted them for the Knit Quick Knitting Machine.
I wanted them for a quick knitting machine to remove hats and scarves after knitting. They weren't sharp enough so I had to file one to get them under the needle on the knitting machine without dropping the stitch. Another thing is that they are fine. You could make a pointy butt just like the eye is pointy.
