Use as a crib monitor when cousins bring their baby. The image quality is good for the app. The refresh rate is 50Hz, which is essentially once per second, so on-camera movement isn't "film quality". But for a baby monitor at the cot, the video quality is quite acceptable. I pointed it at the box and could read every word. The range of the monitor is good. Works anywhere in our two story home. I tested all functions (except VOX and night vision) and was satisfied with their performance. The microphone feedback function works well. The music function is good. The VOX feature should turn off the monitor screen if there is no sound for a period of time and then turn the screen back on when it hears sound. This can be handy for nighttime use, but we only use it during the day so we don't need this feature. We also didn't use night vision, so I can't comment on that. The temperature measurement is accurate and shows the same temperature as our AC thermostat. I would suggest a few improvements that would take this monitor from good to great. I wish the music feature had a few other sounds you could use. My cousin's baby sleeps with the rain sonic machine so we had to buy a separate sonic machine for him. If it rained it would be cool. It would also be nice if the camera had more mounting options. I put a screw in the wall and it worked. But if there was room on the bottom for the command strap, the camera could really be placed anywhere. Thanks to the rubber feet at the base, the Command Strips are too thin to hold. However, the camera is highly adjustable and will stay where you aim, which is a definite plus. I didn't remove any stars as these are nice features.
