The device usually works well after wheel and tire installation. However, the bolt and base plate combination is poorly designed. To mount the wheel and tire using the provided bolts, you must (1) hold the wheel up and position it correctly on the baseplate so that you can (2) insert the bolts into the holes on the baseplate and then (3) fasten the Nuts holding the bolts, wheel and tire in place. If you are a single person, especially someone in the middle of nowhere, good luck with all of this. I solved the problem by buying a new set of longer bolts and an extra set of nuts and then positioning the bolts on the base plate. so the bolts are always ready to receive (and support) the wheel and tire. Tighten the bolts with extra nuts and now the bolts will stay in place while you put the replacement on the bolts or remove the replacement. It takes a few minutes to insert the bolts the first time, but after that there are no more problems.
