I hope they release version #2 of this product. There is no easy way to attach a Pi that has a HAT attached. You are expected to use the supplied sheet metal screws to attach the Pi to the DINrPlate and this leaves no way to attach the HAT to the top of the Pi (I wanted to be able to use the brass posts to attach the HAT to be connected to the DINrboard). Pi.). Another issue is that none of my micro USB power connectors have shared the DINrPlate. To solve both problems I drilled holes in the DINrPlate so I could attach short brass studs under the Pi to make room for the micro USB power connector. I then used some screws to attach these brass posts to the DINrPlate. The disadvantage of drilling holes on the DINrPlate is that there isn't much meat on the nylon posts molded into the DINrPlate. I then screwed in longer brass studs to hold the Pi onto the short brass studs. I then attached my HAT to the longer brass post. Not using HAT on your Pi solves one of the problems. However, the problem with the micro USB power port remains. (Apparently this isn't a problem for all micro USB ports. But if something goes wrong then why does mine always go wrong. They will most likely have this problem too.) So when they come out with Revision #2 DINrPlate, um address these issues, then you have a winner. When removing the nylon posts, drill mounting holes, provide some brass posts (2 different lengths for different sizes of micro USB). connector) and a few screws I would be happy!
