Type of review

So I have a very unique situation. I needed an MP3 player with button volume controls, because I listen to music during light medical (usually dental procedures), but as you can imagine when you're in the dental chair, its very hard to use a touch screen phone or ipod, and often the earbuds with the volume control pack don't reach to where my hands could change the volume or song without getting in the way of the procedure. So it did what it needed to do, HOWEVER. This SD slot is ridiculous. As

Pros
  • You can customize playback settings, allowing for a totally personalized listening experience
Cons
  • No waterproofing

Solid Budget MP3 Player

Works exactly as expected: put the mp3 files on the tf card, play them on the device.I used it for ice skating when I don't want to carry a phone. It's light and the sound quality is good. The interface is a little clunky, but it's easy enough to get used to. You can build playlists (tediously) on the device, but it also supports playing by folders which can accomplish the same thing. The device itself is a nice value, but the software could be a little better.

Pros
  • The included accessories such as the case and earphones, make it a complete and convenient package
Cons
  • No shuffle feature

Not whats as advertised

Like the look and feel of the player, sound good with good earbuds, but then it fails from there. Must insert the SD card and format, seems the best way to to get the files to transfer. After getting card loaded from pc (no problems) Inserted the card into player and recognized on startup, but the mp3 player interface does not like folders and seeing all files. reformated card and loaded songs directly in the root. Player saw all songs and played them if you scroll and select each, there is a…

Pros
  • Its small size makes it perfect for kids and teens to carry around
Cons
  • No voice control

Good for music, not for audio books

I bought this with the intention of putting some audio books on it for a trip. unfortunately, the device does not remember the last played song, and there doesn't appear to be a way to access the folder easily and scan through it. It would probably be great for music on shuffle, though. Sound quality was good. I haven't tested the battery life b/c I had it plugged in while in use.

Pros
  • The TF card slot allows for technology to be future-proofed by upgrading the storage capacity as needed
Cons
  • No support for audiobooks

It doesn’t charge right, or at all.

Most things about are pretty great, for a simple device. It’s good to have if you don’t wanna waste your life phone battery and if you make music, it’s a nice backup tool to have your music on. What sucks tho is charging this thing. It just doesn’t charge. I kept on trying different things like using a charging block, or using a computer but it keeps on saying low power. Even with the charging screen on it, it doesn’t charge. I left on a charger for a day with the power switched off and a day…

Pros
  • It's an excellent gift option for anyone who loves music and video
Cons
  • No equalizer presets

Beautiful color and design

Settings and radio works but everything else requires an mini input that very rare to find, but these are all teens need in this stone age.

Pros
  • LONG-LIFE BATTERY: Can last up to 40 hours after full charge, you can enjoy music for a long time and without worrying about the power. The battery recharges completely in about 3 hours
Cons
  • The sd port is not sturdy, the card sank down inside and I can’t remove it.

Shuffle feature is limited

I had a hard time trying to figure out how to shuffle the music so I contacted the seller and they sent me a video of how to do it. (Attached) I finally figure it out and discovered that this device will only shuffle music in the same folder. I have my music arranged according to artist in their own folders. So it will shuffle the music within that folder but not from folder to folder. If that is okay with you, this might be a good device for you. I returned it.

Pros
  • It supports lossless audio file formats, ensuring maximum sound quality for enthusiasts
Cons
  • Non-replaceable battery

not user freindly - my new review

Pros
  • M230-Black
Cons
  • Outdated technology

Not bad for the price

Just realize there’s a reason the price is so good. Things I don’t like include no memory you have to buy a micro sd card. No power block you have to charge it on computer usb. But the price is good. The look is good. And the sound is good.

Pros
  • No video
Cons
  • A waste of money

Poor Instructions included

1 of them the screen was not sealed on tight on 1 side, it still works, I might just glue it . It was made in China. The battery lasts over 6 hours if you charge it over night. It's adequate to play songs or FM Radio when working.

Pros
  • The slim design doesn't put strain on the pocket while moving around
Cons
  • Poor customer service

Haven't truly tested

I haven't had time yet to really put it to use as I bought it as a gift for my fiance to use on motorcycle rides, but I will say I was a little surprised because it was accidentally sent with the wrong USB cord. Thankfully I had an old one that I switched it out for. Other then that, we are so far happy but again we haven't had a chance to try it on a long ride yet.

Pros
  • 1.4 ounces
Cons
  • Basic design

I have amazon prime, so I had this in two days which was nice. But other then shipping, this product is OK at best. The headphones it comes with don't work in both ears, and are cheap plastic that would probably break if you sneezed the wrong way. The sound is good on the device itself when using other headphones, but unless you odn't mind scrolling through each song to get to the next cd (at a very slow pace at that) you might want to only put one CD on here at a time. I made the mistake of…

Pros
  • The player supports shuffle playback, enhancing the user experience
Cons
  • Poor build quality

Happy with it in my review

I gave you the three stars for easy use because it was kind of hard to figure out how to delete on the Sd card I put in there. This MP3 player is for my mom who is a simple on-off skip and higher volume or lower volume. She would have never figured it out if left to her own devices. I had to figure it out for her and it was hard enough for me to figure out how to delete the files that were on the Sd card that we had. Other than that it works fine. We plug it into a speaker so we can use it…

Pros
  • It can be used in a wide range of settings, from the gym to the office
Cons
  • No audio cable included

Heh. "the card is not include "

Nice player for my daughter. Didn't catch that it doesn't come with a memory card. Not a big deal. Take one out of an old phone or purchase a higher-capacity one as needed.

Pros
  • EASY TO USE: Use playlists to select your favorite songs, Supports shuffle and playback, Support sleep shutdown
Cons
  • No video playback options

Nostalgia overload in my review

You need a micro SD, but once you get the songs on it is petty easy to use. The instructions aren’t very good, but with a little bit of playing with it I figured it out. The shuffle is weird it looped maybe 5 of the 200 songs I put on it.I was feeling nostalgic and really wanted something cheap and this did the job 😂The headphones are garbage but the device is fine.

Pros
  • MP3 & MP4 Players
Cons
  • Limited storage capacity

Great for walks for my opinion

My second one and works so much easier. One thing I didn’t like and it was my fault was I didn’t realize I needed a media card to make it have as much memory as my last one. It lasts me about of 5 hours walking time which is not that much with charging.Update after 1 year had to order a new one because now won’t last 30 minutes. So now down graded to a 3.

Pros
  • Long battery life means multiple hours of uninterrupted listening without the need for recharging
Cons
  • Limited EQ settings

Nice price but not don't overcharge the battery

This is probably the third one I've bought, I like it because it's simple to operate but I've left on the charger longer than I would've liked to and that actually reduces the chances of the battery retaining a charge. The result was the last one I owned only operated for 15 minutes to no minutes at all after charging for more than 2 hours.

Pros
  • It supports both MP3 and MP4 files, providing versatility for all media types
Cons
  • Frequent software glitches

BLUETOOTH WON'T WORK

The wired earbuds work perfectly. The bluetooth connects, but then when I close the bluetooth appliance, my earbuds disconnect. I like it otherwise.

Pros
  • The TF card support allows for further storage expansion, offering endless audio and video possibilities
Cons
  • Bulky accessories

EXCELLENT QUALITY! TERRIBLE FIRMWARE

So the HEADLINE is this review in a nutshell. BUT there are some details to know that may make it a bit less aggravating.PROS: Sound is AWESOME! (Don't even waste your time with the included "CRACKERJACK" headphone). PHYSICAL BUILD is AWESOME nice and sturdy!CONS: FIRMWARE is HORRIBLE! And not consistent from player to player (I.E.Green PLAYER has a folder play option, Black PLAYER does not.WARNING! Though your songs may be on the MICRO SD CARD, if you want to play them as organized (I.E. Songs

Not great quality. for my opinion

The device is not great quality. was unable to get this to record! The battery doesn't last very long. You have to purchase a memory card for it to work.

Pros
  • My husband uses while mowing and loves the quality and product is great.
Cons
  • was unable to get this to record
