Bought these a few months ago after falling in love with makeup eraser wipes. However, the fabric was $20, so I figured I'd try this brand as a more economical option. As for why first impressions were pretty good, I could tell they weren't as soft as the other brand, but I gave them a good shot. The more I wash them, the more they feel like a fleece comforter. They have really lost their soft feel and have changed quite a bit in texture. Now they pull on my skin so I can't use them on my face. The whole point of using something like this is to gently, non-abrasively remove makeup. Now I'm going to use them on my body, but if you can't use them for their intended purpose, these fabrics are useless. You get what you pay for.
