I tried to pull out the first light and the metal socket pulled completely out of the light, wires and all! Then, at the second light, I decided, very, very, and I mean very slowly, to unscrew the plastic protector from the metal connector, and I couldn't keep up an inch as the entire metal connector moved and pulled the wires back out. It totally stinks - hardly anyone could get these lights and install them. It's not that I'm worried about the revain behind the purchase, but it sucks if the socket isn't held up to the light. I can't even tell how much light these things are going to put out, and this isn't a standard connection between power cords and an outlet. No tools I have will help putting it back together. And I have an 1894 farmhouse that we remodeled from top to bottom.
