I bought this xQD Reader and found out what I like and don't like about it. Like it: slim, compact, two card readers in ONE. I love how the xQD card is locked in the reader and that you have to insert the card into the reader to unlock and remove the card. I like it because it helps reduce card reading errors. It's nice to have an integrated SD card reader as I use the D850 which uses both media formats which is a big plus. If I use a GoPro? An SD card can also be used with an SD card holder to host GoPro media. Dislikes: The cable is too short and requires the additional purchase of a USB 3.x male-to-female extension cable adapter. That's why this xQD card reader didn't get a 5-star rating.
