I am the VP of Marketing at Highland Capital Partners (HC2) and our team is looking to add another sales person to our growing team. Our company was founded in 1999 and we are a leading investment firm focused exclusively on the capital markets. Our focus is on companies that provide technology-based services to businesses and consumers. We invest across industries including enterprise software, communications, energy, financial services, healthcare, internet infrastructure, semiconductors, storage, and utilities. We are currently seeking experienced B2B sales professionals who can take ownership of a portfolio of opportunities, drive deal size and revenue growth. We are particularly interested in individuals who have previous experience selling enterprise software products to CIOs and IT executives in Fortune 1000 companies. What You'll Be Doing: - Closely collaborate with sales leadership to understand the opportunity and determine which accounts will best meet the business objectives of HC2. - Develop relationships with potential clients by maintaining positive, open dialogues. - Understand the client’s needs and present proposals that demonstrate how our solutions fit their needs. - Deliver results through strong follow-up efforts and accurate documentation.
