It has been many months since I received it. You are still green. Yes, the green color will fade a bit over time. In a dark room, however, even the faintest green light is enough. They are good because they are thin and don't protrude much from the outlet - 1/2 inch at most. There is enough light in the children's room. for nocturnal visits to the toilet. The two bulbs are still OK, but quite bright. These products glow greenish in the immediate vicinity. They don't glare like normal white light night light.
