The large backpack is great for painting outdoors!
This backpack is awesome! I bought it hoping I could use it for my plein air setup. I have a Coronado French easel from US Art Supply - a complete easel and it fits perfectly. Of course, sometimes the wing nut breaks, but that's no big deal. There is so much space for everything I need and more. I can fit a collapsible stool, solvent container and anything else I need. There will also be a separate carrier for them in addition to wet canvas. But if I chose to carry my easel, I could slip a couple of canvases into the large bag with a wet canvas holder.
