Review on Razer BlackWidow Lite Detachable Tenkeyless by Tutan Dennard

Great compact mechanical keyboard

This is my first mechanical keyboard purchase after being highly recommended by a friend who owns a Razer Ultimate. I used mechanical keyboards 20 years ago when I first got involved with computers and the key clicks were mesmerizing; and over time silent keyboards came into my life and became the norm. I think it's a very well made keyboard and the keys are backlit and responsive. I use it mostly for office work and sometimes for gaming. I type fast, and some of the keyboards I've used in the past feel springy, while others have keys with built-in resistance; but this keyboard is not like that; The buttons are very easy to press and very quick to release, and offer good tactile feedback. You type and are ready for the next print, allowing you to type as quickly and accurately as possible. Key spacing is good too, and the crisp and clicking sound is like the beat of my mind and ears wanting me to type more. This is a compact version of the Razer keyboard and doesn't have a numeric keypad; so not ideal for dealing with numbers. The keyboard measures 355 x 127 x 12.7 mm (14 x 5 x 0.5 inches) and comes with a detachable braided cable. It's supposed to be a tactile and quiet keyboard, but it's not really quiet; They have the clicking sound I wished for the most. However, it does come with orange silencers (called O-rings) that need to be placed over the keys to keep them from ringing. Although I didn't. All in all, a great compact keyboard for super-fast typing when you can do without the number pad.
