The box says "for gamers by gamers" but I'm a programmer not a gamer. Love it but too noisy for my wife as I work from home. I chose this keyboard because they had sound samples on their website so I had a good idea before I paid that much that it would be quieter. Really great keyboard in every way. The price is great (I bought it for $60), the design is clean and not overly personal, which is welcomed by Razer, the build quality is solid, and I'm pretty happy with the switches. I bought this keyboard hoping for a quiet keyboard for my work environment. The workmanship of the keyboard and cable is good, the functionality is basically good, but the claimed silence is not really. I have experience with mass-produced mechanical keyboards and silent switches and know what contributes to the noise when setting up a mechanical keyboard.
