from my husband: I ordered this for home renovation when I climb stairs or move around a lot. I messed up some drills by dropping them so had to come up with a better solution. It's more convenient and secure than the small belt clips that came with my drill. It seems very durable and I haven't used it much to really test it. It's a little deep for me. I also wish the belt loop could be opened and closed so that one could put the belt on and take it off without unbuckling the belt - which is how some gun holsters are designed. I expect to use it a lot in the future. I dropped one star as I can't speak to durability, but it seems like good solid material that's well put together.
