Replaced several 23w CFL light bulbs in my house. (The old 100W incandescent bulbs are long gone.) The same luminous flux is 1600 Lm. Low power consumption 15W. The best I've put in the garage. A ceiling light that comes on when you press the light switch next to the two doors. This is upstate New York and CFLs glow very slowly when cold. The LED lights up immediately with full brightness. What an improvement! CFLs are known to fade with age, so I don't know if the actual light output is greater (probably since CFLs have been around for a few years) or if it could be due to the colour. The 5000K LED seems to be a lot brighter than the old 4000K CFL. I don't know if that's a good deal or not. 4 pears cost $15. I don't need them to be dimmable, but they are, which probably costs more. I put another one at the bottom of the stairs to the basement. Much better. Even in a basement that is not "cold" compact fluorescent lamps slowly shine brighter and appear much brighter again.
