This is a strong pole that is easy to handle. However, the plastic hooks that attach it to the clothes handles on the back are flexible rather than rigid. It collapsed a few minutes after I hung real clothes on it. But it also has steel clips on each end. I took some S-Clips, put them in the built in doorknobs and then attached steel supports to them - and it's all been working fine ever since. But it was very short-sighted to make the main hooks out of flexible plastic for a pole literally designed to carry weight.
