My little ballerina loves these tights and so do I. They are durable and hold their color well. We love the transitional feature because she can flip the tights over to put on your regular shoes to get to and from the dance and then put them on your feet before putting on the flats. I hand wash them in warm water with mild detergent after each wear and hang to dry. Sometimes it takes a little oxyclin on her toes and soles to get rid of the black spots from her flats. She wears them two to three times a week during her hour-and-a-half session, and a pair typically lasts 6-8 months before repeated kneeling and stretching on the floor causes knees to thin. We usually only use them until the knees break completely. I always keep a spare pair of these tights on hand and I'm very happy with them. We tried other brands but they didn't like it that much and they don't last long. Depending on your girl's build, they can be very high, but my little girl doesn't find it uncomfortable. She is 8 years old and wears size 2-6 tights that hit her ribs and stay under her bathing suit during class.
