The first had to be returned - it didn't seem to turn off. Tried it again with a new one and so far everything works fine. The instructions on how to use the timer are completely unclear (maybe that's why I thought it wouldn't turn off the first time you turned it on!). Anyway if you buy this make sure you clear the timer before EVERY use -Enter desired time for next use. A little uncomfortable, but no big deal. They seriously need someone who speaks the language and really tries to use the topic to paraphrase the manual. I gave 4 stars for the usual good C/S by Amazon and have been using it ever since.
